We are doing It.

Our family and our little dog blog have successfully fostered 14 Dogs through Lake Lowell Animal Rescue since we opened our heart and home to this mission and cause just six short months ago.

It is hard for me to put into words. But it's the most beautiful and heart wrenching mission to be a part of. Each dog that comes in opens our heart to love and loss all at the same time.

When you are committed to the work of Fostering it literally means to love and release.

Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing the joys, challenges, and rewards of opening our heart and home to animals in need. Fostering isn't just about providing temporary shelter—it's about saving lives and making a difference.

If it's okay with you I will also be sharing about some of the precious souls in our system at Lake Lowell Animal Rescue that are still in waiting for their forever homes. An animal who gets seen, and heard has a chance to get adopted. Please help us share their stories in an effort to reach their furrrever family!

Meet My Friend Stewie.

Stewie is a high-energy little terrier mix. Tragically, he came to us totally blind. We discovered that this sweet guy was living in pain due to the pressures in his eyes and as a rescue made the decision to have his eyes removed. Just look at hime! Still as handsome as ever and he has recovered like a champ!

He's a very happy boy. Stewie lives for toys!! He's like a little alligator anytime a toy is around. Because of his exuberance with anything he thinks might possibly be a toy, he would do best in a home without small children.

He absolutely adores people. As soon as he hears your voice, he breaks out into a full-body wiggle.

Stewie does well with most medium-size dogs. He can't live with small dogs or with cats because he regards them as toys. He absolutely adores people. As soon as he hears your voice, he breaks out into a full-body wiggle. If you have capacity to walk and work with him he's a perfect little snuggle bug after he gets his energy out!

DO WANT TO MEET STEWIE?
